18 arrested for illegal online gambling

(22 Mar 2019) xviii strange nationals were arrested inward the Philippines for access device fraud and illegal online gambling before this week, Philippine authorities said Friday at a press briefing.
The strange suspects, mostly Chinese according to the National Bureau of Investigation, were arrested on March 18 inward Angeles City, Pampanga province, north of Manila.
Multiple computers, network hubs, blank java cards, a skimming device, and other tools used for stealing credit card info and conducting illegal online gambling operations were found during the arrest.
Identities of the suspects are still being confirmed as no cast of documentation was recovered. Authorities say that this scheme may be linked to a new modus operandi where niaganiss try to throw off investigations by concealing their real identity.
