Police smash two online gambling call centre syndicates, 109 people detained
Police smashed two online gambling call centre syndicates with the arrest of 109 people inwards the northeast and Seberang Prai Selatan districts lastly Saturday.
The call centre syndicate inwards the northeast district was masterminded by a local 61-year-old man, who was nabbed, during the raid.
The call centre syndicate inwards the Seberang Prai Selatan district was masterminded by a Chinese national. Police are looking for the suspect, believed to still be inwards the country.
