Using new technology to regulate online gambling ads

We’ve developed an innovative way to determine what ads are being shown to children when browsing online. Using this method, we discovered 5 gambling operators who were serving their ads to children, on kids’ websites. This was a clear breach of our rules. We took action to ban the ads, and told the advertisers to put inward place measures to prevent this from happening again.

Gambling ads should never be targeted at children, and through our proactive monitoring of online media, we mean to maintain it that way.
