Tamil Nadu authorities Proposes Bill To Outlaw Online Gambling and Poker inwards The State | English News
S Regupathy, the law minister for Tamil Nadu, introduced a proposal to ban online gambling games inwards the house on Wednesday. A bill has been proposed to outlaw online poker, rummy, and other gambling websites. Games that promote gambling online take hold been asked to be banned by the law minister. The state administration declared its commitment to outlawing online gambling inwards March of this year. Additionally, they stated that every attempt was being made to use the current legislation to accomplish the goal. This development came about as a result of the Madras High Court’s ruling inwards August 2021 to invalidate the AIADMK-enacted Tamil Nadu Gaming and Police Laws (Amendment) Act.
