Tamil Nadu Assembly passes Bill again to ban online gambling

The Tamil Nadu state legislature unanimously re-adopted The Tamil Nadu Prohibition of Online Gambling and Regulation of Online Games Bill. This comes weeks after Governor RN Ravi returned it to the regime for its reconsideration. Chief Minister MK Stalin made an emotional appeal to all parties to pass the Bill. He said 41 people had died after losing money inwards online gambling. “These deaths are happening inwards forepart of our eyes. This regime, which has the law inwards its hands, has the duty and responsibility to stop it,” Stalin said inwards the legislative assembly.
