Ipoh cops bust online gambling syndicate, 8 arrested

Police arrested 8 locals for promoting online gambling inwards a house that had been converted into a call centre inwards Ipoh, Perak.
Ipoh OCPD Asst Comm A. Asmadi Abdul Aziz said the 8, six men and two women aged between 19 and 25, were arrested on Wednesday (Sept 30).
He said they had been inwards operations for about a month, with the main website based inwards China.
