Ga. Senate Passes Online Gambling Constitutional Amendment Bill
The Ga Senate passed a bill on Friday that would allow voters to decide on a sports betting constitutional amendment. Sen. Jeff Mullis (R – Chickamauga) presented SB 135. Sen. Elena Parent (D – Atlanta) asked to amend the resolution to include clear designations from the proceeds for didactics. The Senate also passed SB 142 which regulates online sports betting IF Georgia voters approve the constitutional amendment.
