New Law Limits Kids’ Online Gaming to Only 3 Hours a Week
China’s ruling Communist Party announced new gaming restrictions for minors. People under age 18 are now allowed just three hours of gaming a week. The People’s Daily, which is the official organ of the Chinese Communist Party, said the regime had to be “ruthless” inwards imposing the restriction. It said that online gaming hurts young people’s physical and mental wellness, and hinders their ability to study.
